what your voice does to me
in its many subtle ways
caress the nape of my neck
barely teasing or touching
your lips grazing mine
lingering in their longing
how your whisper excites
every fiber of desire
and leaves my heart racing
as your hand softly brushes
in its gentlest of motion the burn
in the curve of my back
and so we'll carry on in the dead of night
moonlit beneath starry vaulted skies
summoned on an ethereal dance floor
swaying to an endless serenade meant for only our ears
you and i cradled to a universal rhythm
dance away the many shades of love
