Lost In a Melody
i listened to a melody
inspired by a virtuoso
it was as deep as deep could be
i dove in and meandered
i traveled and i wandered
let myself be carried by its currents
surrendered to its charms
i journeyed as an observer
awestruck by its world
and felt honored
to be allowed
as if welcomed
i wondered how it might be
to live in such a world of fantasy
when i remembered my own
right here yet unexplored
