Lost Connections
The threads we wove now frayed and torn apart,
A silent space where laughter used to bloom.
A whispered name, a ghost within my heart,
The empty chair, a shadow in the room.
The paths we walked diverging in the night,
The stars above bear witness to our plight,
A fading echo of a shared embrace.
A lonely journey in this desolate place.
The words unspoken, hanging in the air,
A heavy silence where our stories end.
A broken promise, a burden hard to bear,
A memory's ghost I struggle to defend.
The nights are endless with no stars that shine,
Nor moon that glows because dark clouds align,
My world is shattered, scattered on the floor,
As beautiful dreams just walk out the door.
