Lost

Lost I degrade myself in trying to fit in No one has ever sacrificed for me What have I sacrificed? Bits and pieces of me Chiseled block Under the covers Claiming we're brothers My character is dissected By amateurs So I will show them Not owe them I will entertain them Not maintain them I will shelter them I will be me Not them What has been sacrificed for me? If anything, I apologize I did not mean to take away from your normal day Do I belong to you? Was it wrong of me to? I'm like the third ball Suddenly you gotta juggle How I need a warm breeze None of this is really real But I could use a warm breeze Salt air and palm trees Mmmmmmmmmmmmm I can feel the heat And hear the breeze Rustling in the palms leaves I say mother You say milk I say comfort We agreed on silk Are we back to this again? Man, I thought you married your friend Who ever said that might want to think again I degrade myself every time I'm angry I degrade myself every time I try to stay I degrade myself every time I believe it will change Everyday a little bit is left around town Rattling and scrambling Lost
