Looking For Love Adultery Contest
Looking for Love
When I saw you
with my sister
my heart froze
I ran
But you followed
begging to come home--
sought me--
this woman you wronged
the woman humiliated
the woman shamed
by your flagrant dalliance
the last of many--
You faced the wrong direction
your compass spun
your North was lost.
When you sought
Forgiveness
Feminine and charitable
Forgiveness laced with softness of a feather
And the flick
Of a fragile wrist
Madness had crept into your blood.
Seeking my forgiveness
was the seeking
of my sharpened friend
Seeking in my direction
You found
The bloody taste
Of my last kiss.
No woman has ever
Killed her
Lover
So tenderly
and so well.
