Looking For a Girl Like Grandma
Jasper wanted an old-fashioned girl who liked to cook and clean.
No one likes to clean, dust or vacuum said Jasper’s sister Jean.
Grandma cleans daily, Jasper argued with his sister that day.
Grandpa insists on it said Jean, Grandma never wanted it that way.
Their grandfather died, and his old-fashioned girl kicked up her heels.
She went on a cruise to Alaska on one of the best cruise type deals.
She sold her house and all the stuff in it, and promptly yelled whoopee!
I never was old-fashioned she said, but with gramps, I pretended to be.
