Longing
I am all alone but I
know I am not lonely.
Living in an alien city
with no one to call my own
I keep the life sense burning
with the oil of hope.
Decisions were made as
choices were hard.
I chose success over comfort
but oh that's not my fault.
Look at the world from the
world's eye
And you will be left
without warmth or caring.
I steeled my heart
and made this world my home.
My home was the world, though
I soon came to know.
keep garnering my positivity
as I long for love.
I raise the urge help feelings transpire
hoping some day that the universe conspires...
With the blue umbrella above
and the green carpet below
The murmuring creek will
have a turbulent flow.
On that crimson dawn
I will get back what I lost.
Not material, not spiritual
a heart that transcends.
And touches me across time zones
where the horizon bends.
