Happiness eludes you when you feel lonely, overcome by depression and self-pity. You want to fit into your new life, except, you're all alone in an uncaring city. You miss all the friends you had to leave behind, aware that, like treasures, friends are hard to find. And the emptiness in your heart grows each day, and yet hope assures you those feelings won't stay.
