Loneliness

Author Dana Redricks December 4, 2018 Loneliness is not always the absence of people but avoids that is seeking to be filled. We try to fill it with, people and things, but only God can fill the void. He takes our brokenness and makes us brand new. He molds us and shapes us as a potter would. We are sent through the fire to make us strong. When we have gone through the fire as gold has gone through the oven being purified, we will çome out as pure gold. Only God can fill the void nothing else will do. God is the glue that binds us together and takes our broken pieces and puts them together like new.

A deeply moving message, Sunshine. I give my troubles to God, but sometimes the loneliness is still there. However, there would be a different type of void in my life if not for my faith. I live alone; my house is quiet. I pray that poets like you continue to fill this void for me. Love you, Carolyn
