Live Pause - Surreal Scifi

I am one of those in a world that stopped whether it was for seconds, fractions or millennia but the engine of time broke down mid action mid conversation, mid thought and for a beautiful period we were all framed in a snapshot that may have lasted eons and some called it enlightenment and when the buffering released us all was as it was and some claimed epiphanies the only giveaway, a distant house alarm

an excellent, thought-provoking poem, Clive. I found myself drawn to it and its message. The notion of time and space is tricky, and you alluded to that. I supposed we've all had moments when time was temporarily suspended evidenced by an epiphany. Perhaps? Enjoyed the read. Have a pleasant evening, Sara

Great Thought and perfectly crafted, Clive. In deed the combination time and space is the universal forms of matter's existence. Time may be an abstract way for humans to understand change. Plato thought that time was celestial motion

There's the joke that time only exists to stop everything from happening all at once. Thanks so much for your deep comment and for reading Sotto
