Live For Today
Live For Today

God didn’t intend,
For our pilgrimage through time,
To be spent as puppets on a string,
Always dancing to the music of another.
For when we dance to the Devil’s music,
Then he becomes our puppet master,
And we’ll pay his exorbitant price.
God made us
More than foolhardy travelers in time,
Leaving tracks, to soon be forgotten.
For each has a purpose for being here.
live life, enjoy it, and bask in It’s afterglow.
For revealed at twilight, is the truth,
That life has been, just a vapor. *
* James 4:14 King James Version
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
