Little Wings of Red

Winter passerines of beauty and joy chirping in unison without decoy Soft and pretty with wings of pure red you sit on a branch as fine as thread Windward breezes snowflakes of white I love to watch you in the morning light Wuthering winds that carry you away oh how I wish that you could stay

I never knew the passerine, 'til Mystic Rose placed it on my screen! Thanks! What a beautiful bird -- and a sweet poem. Light and Joy, Gershon

You wish and dream to fly as do i M.R. You never know if we become Angels in heaven one day we both may get our wish and fly forevermore
