Little Wings of Red
Winter passerines of beauty and joy
chirping in unison without decoy
Soft and pretty with wings of pure red
you sit on a branch as fine as thread
Windward breezes snowflakes of white
I love to watch you in the morning light
Wuthering winds that carry you away
oh how I wish that you could stay
