Little People In Your Hair

A stranger walked up and motioned You have moving things in your hair I felt and sure as there's heaven There were five tiny folks living there Invited them to come down and join me They reluctantly climbed onto my hand The language they spoke wasn't english It was foreign but I could still understand I asked them how did they get up there They said they rode in on the wind To help the world down a different path And on me, their hopes they've pinned They arrived ten thousand years ago Until now they've been searching in vain Maybe, just maybe the time has come We'll get back to the start once again We'll live and love without any question Of colour, of country of creed In a world with such joy and devotion No corruption or killing, no greed I promised to try with all of my heart To help people understand The only thing really important in the world Is the love of our dear fellow man
