A child of God
sitting on the porch
crying
the adult ask
the child what
are you crying for little boy
happy in his tears
he says I'm crying
tears of joy he says
I'm crying happy
because you have finally
praised the Lord
and now you walk with me
with our God
Thank you Dad and Mom
Thank God Amen
