Lingering Longing
I know who he is to me,
But I know I could be wrong...
I just want him to hold me.
I miss him sorely, dearly...
I remember that dawn of our love;
Bench I made us sit backwards upon.
Then the sun shone through the clouds
As we saw our initials on top its back.
I realize it's always been him,
He could have given me everything,
But I knew we weren't meant to belong.
Little he knows, my love stays strong.
I know our cosmic love lingers,
For every time we meet somewhere
I feel a tender warm spark
Setting my heart afire with desires.
