Somehow I always know when Spring will come
By the fragrance of lilacs in the sun ;
Their trembling buds awake beside my fench
And bear sweet of blossoms, yet I must wait
Until the daylight comes around to warm
Each perfumed spray. Not one frostbite must harm
These eternal florae of bridal white
And rosy pink immortal in delight
The diamond leaves are unfurling now
To hang delicately on April twigs ,
And pearly mist that glides on wind's showers
Till choirs of red jays, robins start to coo
One lustrous melody to worship morn
A view of forever I'll also see
This holy radiance spring's lilac tree .
