Like Kind Fall is like cinnamon in pumpkin pie. The crimson morning dawns in misty haze. On amber noon so pleasing to the eye parades a troop of brightly colored shades while umber colored barks have leaves ablaze. Tonight, we’ll dream beneath the saffron sky and feel a chilly crispness in the days With nippy nights of winter to come nigh this marks the start of yuletide season craze dressing the trees of gold in wind swept sways. These shifting seasons in our times will fly here and gone as a seconds swiftly plays For we and nature are two of like fry and just as autumn’s coming is a phase life’s changes are a constant in their ways 8/26/18 revised 10/13/2020 Autumn Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Francine Roberts
