Like Clouds Blowing In the Wind

The clouds are swirling in the wind, Unique designs appear within. An artist’s brush could be the air, For many forms are found up there. Look up there, it’s a swimming whale, ‘Twill quickly change with the next gale. It seems so strange to change so much, It makes it hard to keep in touch. There’s a ship with the flag raised high, It slowly fades as it drifts by. A dragon flies upon the mast, With raging winds, it will not last. One way to live with all this change, Enjoy each form when it’s in range. Then like a child with a new toy, Each change will bring with it more joy. Don’t allow fear to have its way, Change will come with every new day. Giving us a chance to mature, A better chance to feel secure.

I loved this poem, you brought back happy memories of me and my father when I was a child, we would lie on the front lawn and watch the clouds making different forms, different faces, animals - it was such fun, he died at 66 of lung cancer, if I look up at the sky even today, i see him - will fave this poem well penned Bill, Hugs, blessings, Jennifer

Gosh, I think you've written for so many of us, watching and wondering about the shapes of the clouds, forming and re-forming within seconds or minutes sometimes.... other times, more slowly and subtly. Meaningful, resonant verse, Gershon

Clouds can be a lot of fun. They help build creativity and imagination in us. I love to look at the clouds we I'm out for my daily walk. It's easy to believe in creative design and a Master Creator when looking at the beautiful clouds in the sky. Blessings, Bill
