Like All Lovers
Take these flowers.
Let us fall unto the bed,
Like these lovely petals.
We’ll make love for hours.
Passionately, we shall embrace,
As you loosen my lace.
Take mine breath away,
While we kiss, turn, and toss,
Until the dawn of a new day.
We’ll fall into a deep slumber.
Peacefully, throughout the morning,
We’ll stay asleep in each other’s arms.
Take me far away.
Let us wander in the world of dreams,
As we feel the warmth of our sleeping bodies.
Beneath the covers, like all lovers,
Placidly, our synchronised hearts beat
While we silently lay together under the sheets.
