Lighthouse On a Lonely Rock

Lonely lighthouse on one lone rock Guarding the rocky shore around the clock Standing stately flashing your light Even though ships no longer come in the night Birds love you, they cling to the rock At your feet hoping just hear your clock When it strikes its last chime Saying that it is now the end of time
