Lifting Fog

The morning sun shined through the fog Reflecting from the wet leaves, laying on the path Everything was bright in the cool, damp air With warmth ready to dry soaked thoughts A morning to start over, a new day to embrace With every hour of opportunity waiting I stopped, turned around, took a breath And listened to everything around me Before I took my next step into the lifting fog That was clearing my way, for time so precious Heidi Sands 10/26/19

From the very first lines, I was bursting with anticipation to read how you were going to tie in the fog and the lifting thereof with your own life. And you DID NOT disappoint (me), Heidi! 'Vintage Heidi Sands!' Hurray! Warmest wishes, Gershon

You expressed these visions so well in this wonderful poem Heidi. Some days do seem to begin in a haze, but the sun always seems to clear things up, at least in our minds.

Thank you Chris. I appreciate your feedback and kindness, alwyas. Some days start off foggy and yes, then the sun can clear things up, along with our minds :)
