Life's Thief
Concerning Unsaved Loved One's / Friends,
And Time,
Life's Thief
Written: By Tom Wright

Fragments of time,
How stealthily you slipped away,
Until life's last breath became hushed.
Today, we bathe,
In waters of remorse and sorrow,
Often reflecting upon situations,
Wherein, perhaps we,
Could have made a difference in this life;
Now, through abundant thoughts,
It's, should have, but didn't;
Could have, but wouldn't;
While we grapple with ghosts of a life passed,
The life passed, is determining,
That physical, is much more horrifying than the imaginary.
And their blood is on our hands.
