Eternal, alive like the sun
Caressing dreams
With whispers of hope
The silence of abundant promise
Raining down showers, songs
Grace penetrating the ones
Who know immortality
Unending love, breathed out
From the caress of cool,
Clear waters roaring, liquid
Pools of inspiration, soothing
Calming aching spirits
Those who grieve for the death
Which can never come
As the soul wishes to disappear
Undone by the echoes
Shadows of a love gone, long gone
In solitude, silence sighs
Deepening the desire
For a end to the dream
Fading into the shadows
Wishing, wistfully,
For the time when this
Brooding flower
Love lost, so long now
Faded into the secret
Place of death, decay
Demise so real it never fades
Yet, eternally, in undying
Unforgettable memory
There is the echo of its yearning
Singing into awaiting ears
We will live on, forever,
Even though the love of life
Has been gone for so long
Dead yet never dying
Always screaming in silence
Lingering on the solitude
Singing to the soul in blue
Worn, dull and pale
Diminished by the thoughts
Which dread immortality
Life’s echo in hell
