Life Without
I only live for food and clothing.
A simple life to live.
When times I think of buying more
they're only gifts to give.
It took me years to get this way.
To throw out all my stuff.
But now that life has gotten harder
I know I have enough.
Where bills are paid and savings made
though nothing is secure.
With still the fear of losing all.
The future not that clear.
But what I know as true for now
is less things mean less worry.
And life without means fear without
though death still seems a hurry.
