Life Today

Life today Went in welfare office today So much people of mix races Some with children lost their jobs Looks of uncertainty on many faces Life become so hard for people All around this world What kind of future it will have For them little boys and girl Remember when recessions Was a thing of the past Now it comes back today Don’t know how long it will last They say Clinton was bad How he like plenty women But when he was president We had jobs to feed our children The country had a surplus And jobs to go to everyday Then bush become president And take it all away After twenty years by enjo They show you a finger in their hand Kick you out of the door With our even a pensions plan Them they stand up laughing Without a kind word to say You know he died in the building Before he see Christmas day The electric company Doubling their rates every year While everyday people savings And security slowly disappear I don’t watch the news again It’s not good for my health The leaders says they feel our pain But they’re basking in wealth Gas price keep going up Driving has become a hell But they try to blame Obama Like if we cannot tell A guy can’t pay his gas bill Asking for a little more time They escort him out the office Like he commit a crime And this is a scenery Playing in every country And all they actors Is you and me
