Life Living Travels

Through the many days Up and down marking each their hours So do minds sail their curious course. With each weighed anchor leaving swirling trails Showing the world what the bottom had, then to follow While highest birds fly singing their tunes too… Making well sounds where they found best treasures lay. ___*___ As all then follows the piper poet sounding loud… Upon his own creaking deck “Hearty ho, away we go Stout sailors, man the sails full or trimmed For after going ‘round the cape It’s home. It’s home we go again. For when last port does come As sure it will… Driving our last weight Upon the shallow, receiving sands And all go ashore regaling the world Hear our wiser tunes. Look what we smelled, saw, heard Tasted, and feel… Thunderous Waves softened, lapping the shores With strange birds landing in trees Wanting to hear too And add their weight. While learning, more comes to its new home In song and dance and breathing free… How to better Grow the fields of men So in future sailing wiser be.
