LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS EVEN Life isn’t always EVEN You wear your shoes on your hands Even thought you walk You are crawling Feet in the ail doing hand stands Even a blind man can see Even a prevailed of a person can walk Run in hide, hide in run For in the crowd the marathon no one’s winning Just a matter of your perspective You speak lies even with a spoon in your mouth Got a forked tongue all because you have chosen To follow the wrong voice mouth open wide teeth split Tongue circumcised mind void of logic Even a blind man can see Even a prevailed of a person can walk Run in hide, hide in run Even the speechless can talk Even the lame can walk Even a blind man can see Look at me no really look at me Even a runner can run With your hands and arms in the air Are you praising God or just Surrendering cause this man has a gun pointed at you But it’s the thought about what you’d do with this too LIFE ISN’T ALWAYS EVEN 5/26/16 Written by James Edward Lee Sr. 2016©
