Life- Cube
LIFE/CUBE?
All of us here,
Stuck together like a
Rubix Cube with all
Of its shuffled colours.
We begin to take shape
With the white cross;
The time when we are
Completely fragile and
Dependent on others.
Slowly we grow,
And from our experiences
We learn, 'bout the
Different faces of life!
A moment where it
Gets all blue,
The sky’s the limit and
Dreams know no bounds.
Even before you realize,
You find yourself chasing blocks of red,
A feeling totally new and difficult
To comprehend.
When you'd just discovered it
And had appreciated it a little,
Turn of events, everything
Changes to orange.
Screaming, crying ‘coz
You are deeply hurt.
Yet you learn to believe
That there ought to be
Some way to get past it.
Yes, I learned it the hard way.
The world around me is now green
And I feel more at peace.
The perspective of life has changed
And I’m not a cent, the same.
Far away from the daily drama,
Believing strongly in karma;
Here have I come,
In search of the real me.
Little things around me, I cherish,
Envy and hatred; themselves perish.
With a strong resolute, I strive forward.
I’m not embarrassed about my past,
Real things stayed, and uncertain things faded.
This is the true yellow
That I now live for,
Needless to say, I feel
Truly Blessed and happy
And never want to let it go.
