Living a lie has never been me;
Going for my dreams is my heart desire.
Being the best, me always wanting to be free
Taking chances knowing all I have is one life to live
Trying to find my way in this world
Trying never to get myself trapped in a box.
Society says we should live like this or be like that.
Pretending has never been something for me.
I am caged bird who longs to be free.
My God is who I desire to please.
Only he can send me down;
the right path that is meant for me.
