Letter to a step father

Dear Robin there are so much I can say to you. Things I should have said. But you know how I was about things. If one emotion crashes through the wall everything does as well. Well I have done what you have asked of me. Or tried to at the very least. I know ashley and I kind of were pains in your ass a good part of the time. (mostly during those teenage years.) But you never ran for the hills or back to WI should I say? I'm sure there were times you wanted to. What you didn't know I did start looking up to you. Even tried to act like a little badass at times. We both know how well that worked out. I remember how you drove Ashley ten miles so she could go to the other high school when she was getting bullied at Wayne High school. You don't know this but when I started writing the father character for my story line I used some of your personality in him. You didn't expect us girls to call you step dad or whatever. You also didn't let Ashley and I forget our dad. I do have to say thank you for telling me about my best friend that day. You thought it was best i heard from a parent instead of on line. Thank you for not treating me as if I were just some dumb kid you were stuck with. You made sure we were all taken care of even though we probably caused you more headaches then you cared to admit or when we didn't have much money. There is still so much I could say to you but then I would run out of kleenex and paper. So I guess until we meet again maybe in some bar either below or above bye for now. Love from your pain in the ass daughter, Jessica
