Come get me please. I need to be pampered. I need to be listened to. I need to be loved for who I am. Take care of me - I need nurturing. Look after me as I spread my wings. Dear Inner Child, You are so beautiful and energetic. You’re curious about the world and this is a good thing. Don't let anyone tell you differently. It’s the foundation for your zest for life, learning and creativity. Never change, never lose that curiosity and eagerness to explore and enjoy every moment. I know you are lonely and often feel you are not listened to, misunderstood and even set aside. You feel that people are too busy to take the time to listen to you and to understand who you are and what you need. Don’t ever give up trying to express your emotions, your feelings, your disappointments, your dreams and your desires. I want to hear everything you have to say. I want to help you figure out life and the world, I want to pamper you. I’ll let you feel your feelings – I’ll let you be angry, sad, afraid or jubilant. I love you just the way you are. I will love you always and I will never leave you. Love always.
