Let Me Sleep

Sometimes I get this feeling I am living in a dream That things can not really be As fantastic as they seem Then I shiver feeling scared That this dream will have to end That I will be ejected From a World that is pretend When I lived in my nightmare It was sleep that gave me calm My little slice of freedom But it never lasted long I hope I am not still there If so, please don't shake the bed If I am still in my nightmare Let me sleep the sleep of the dead
