Let It Snow

Kids, yell, "Let it snow! Let it snow." Do we get much snow here? Shucks, NO. "Snow's coming," some say. I say, "Snow? No way!" To see snow, up North we must go! January 6, 2019, entered in Charles Messina's Same Word Winter Limerick contest

Nice how you were able to crate a fun limerick using "snow" in each line, Janice. I live in the South too and rarely see snow at all. Best wishes in Charlie's contest!

Yes, I'm aware of the requirement, Janice, and you did well with it. Couldn't come up with anything, but you surely rose to the challenge!

Thanks so much, Carolyn. I'm not used to repeating in a short form, but the prompt calls for "snow" in each line. Janice

Hi Janice, had to look in on this piece. I am one of those snow lovers, walking in it our just watching it from inside, I do find such peace. Loved the content of your fun limerick. Reads like a winner to me Janice, wishing you luck in the contest with this wonderful write. Have a wonderful Monday. Hugs....Mike. XX

I'll mail you my Virginia snow when next it does show. The older I grow, the less I care for winter's cold and the more snows, so fun when young, become gray messes and rush hour stresses, plus they require shoes, coats - stuff! Cute limerick, but I'm jealous of the apparent warmth you address knows! Good luck in the contest and all else ... CayCay

Thanks so much, CayCay! I live in Mississippi. We don't get much snow here, but you're right. It's pretty for about day; then . . . ! The high today is low sixties. Janice

Good flow, Janice. Line 2 is missing some of the white stuff though. I presume you mistakenly missed the 's' off the word 'now'. Best wishes Wendy

Wendy, THANK YOU! I'll fix that. I have to proofread three times to catch something! LOL! Janice

You can keep all you want, Janice. Your poem reminds me of huge snow storms we had piling up more that 3 feet of snow a few years back..and I don't live up north. Good capture..uniquely your own!
