Let Go
Sometimes the hardest part of life is letting go
And we all know that holding on does more damage than letting go
But that never stops people from holding on
Holding on means that you're terrified to lose something
Often holding on blinds you from the things that you need to see
Holding on kills people, it rips their hearts right from there chest
Holding on is why people build walls so high that not even the birds can fly over it.
Holding on is a soul's way of saying “i'm too scared too find something better”
Holding on too something you need to let go of is like tying a anchor around your ankle and jumping into the ocean.
You're never going to be able to get back to the surface is you don't untie and let go of the anchor.
Letting go of something often breaks your heart, but it doesn't hurt as much as holding onto something only to have it walk out of your life like you never mattered.
Letting go is the way to care for yourself and protect the fragile thing we call our hearts.
