Lest We Might Wander
Lest we might wander too far astray
From He who gives us a beautiful day,
Who leads us along a narrow pathway
Then bidding we who are faithful to stay,
Makes safe for us on life’s highway
And teaches us how we should always pray
So that we might keep wickedness away
And enter into His kingdom someday
For in this life, believe me, come what may,
If we listen to the piper, we must pay
Lest we might wander too far astray.
