Gullible I am

Gullible I will always be

Been burnt many a time

Lesson learnt….No Siree!


Soft hearted, trusting

Is who I am

Will I ever change

Lesson learnt…No Ma’am!

Be true to yourself and love yourself, and you’ll never be alone. A slip of the tongue, a misguided remark or falling for someone’s subterfuge; once you realize it’s occurred, and was unintended or unavoidable, is a damned good reason for a wry smile and the expression, “Another one in here, Barman!” Belated congrats on POTD, Deb. Having a kind heart. Tender and compassionate is a very good thing. However, many like to take advantage of those with gentle feelings. (I learned this lesson many years ago).
