Notes About The Poem

3/19/2025 for An Irish Themed Limerick Poetry Contest sponsored by Tania Kitchin

Leprechaun Fine Print

A leprechaun, to me, proposed,
at my service, to be disposed.
He'd one more thing to say
as he jetted away.
I must catch him first, he disclosed.

Hi elle, thanks - I can explain! You commented on my poem Leprechaun. For some reason, I wrote this second one, with fine print for the contest. I think I thought my first one was too glum.

First you must see one, recognize him, chase him down, but he surely has one more truck up his sleeve!

Hmm, I guess things could get pretty tricky when it comes to recognizing them. I wouldn't want to make a mistake!
