Leap of Faith

The threshold kept moving a golden gate ,three winged steps shaped like cherubim. Last night the moon caught the edge and spun it back to where he clung on the rain soaked ledge of faith . He made the chilling leap to land atop the youngest cherub's wing. trumpets filled the night A blinding light lit up the sky and I from down below could only wave Goodbye.
