Last Day of May
Last Day of May
i will fall and my smile will slip,
but return when I get back up again.
disturbed; we’re the hypocrites,
giving hope and we’re devoid of it.
last day of May;
31 days and nothing’s changed,
my heart is dark and the skies are gray.
can you imagine a better life?
than this one of shooting stars raining upon us.
granting all we ever wished,
just to take it back again
demented smiles & a molded face
our golden hearts are the world’s ashtray.
silence screams to keep me safe
a murder wearing a child’s face;
darkness is comfort with a side of a blade.
