Charlotte, you have wonderfully captured the persona of a lantern glowing in the dark - its warmth, its amber invitation. I always love your visual imagery and wonderful lyrical cadence even in this short poem. Fun play on words. Hope this does (or did) well. Blessings for the coming holiday season!

Ah i wrote a lantern lanterne too but very different to yours. I love yours dear charlotte. Orange warmth, and orbs casting. Ah! Magical. I can see lanterns through your words. Congratulations on your win: well deserved
