La Avispa

Érase una tarde
que atravesaba
yo el patio de mi tía.
En cada esquina
de la casa había un
tanque curado con
cemento usado para
almacenar el agua
que venía por canaletas.
Deteniéndome yo en uno,
de pronto vi una pobre
avispa que flotaba
moribunda.
Ingenua mi edad,
decidí salvarla con mi
diestra del vaivén del
preciado líquido.
Pero no bien la había
puesto a la superficie
cuando con furia dejóme
sentir su punzante aguijón.
Una hora más tarde,
era mi mano el doble
de lo normal.
De aquel inolvidable
incidente aprendí que
cada cosa actúa según
el dictado de
su propia naturaleza.
