Knowledge

By Poet "Dreams make the world go round. Knowledge can bring it down." Did you ever have a dream, one that took your breath away? Day dreams and night dreams, make the world go round. Dreams are what inventions are made of, creativity and imagination working overtime. Then knowledge decides to step in, in with all kinds of facts. The dream was to fly like a big bird knowledge had flying just for the birds and not mankind. What if this dream had died, what if knowledge had won over. No airplanes for us, this dream makes the world go round. This time knowledge did not pay off, hooray for us flying everyday.

Knowledge aids man. Imagination gives him wings. When we have knowledge and dreams we are able to rise to higher levels. I don't think they are antithetical ! You have given us much room for thought, dear Paula. All the Best.

Thanks for your note. Glad you enjoyed my write. Dreams, creativity, imagination work together. Knowledge gets mixed in. It is like baking. With only knowledge many of the things we have today we would not have. That is why I added the bird/airplane to my write. They said, man was not meant to fly because he had no wings. People are conditioned to be mediocre, and to follow the crowd. If you step outside those bounds, like I have done since I was 18, be prepared to have the sky fall on your head. I don’t understand the psychology of it but people just don’t want to see you succeed but very few truly mean it. Those who stand by you and not leave ….are rare. Most are too conceited doing nothing but following the crowd.. they think that’s where the trophy of life is. What a hoax. Pangie
