Knock Knocking On Heavens Door

1 day I went a Knock , Knocking On Heavens Door Then everything went silent The lights went out And surreptitiously A Please Do Not Disturb Sign was hung on the door And devil's luck I had simultaneously just missed the last bus and final train home And not noticed I had a hole in my trousers pocket and all my change had fallen out So I didn't even have any pocket change in order to phone anyone to come and pick me up Or for that matter where the hell I actually was anyway

Very touched by the imagery, the narrative of identity…mugged by life…not too different from when I actually lost consciousness and went into a coma. Thus, the finding of a hole in pocket and stuff lost, sense of place lost, is superb metaphor. Just me, one reader’s take. Great flow in your work! sally

I guess you are in a waiting room waiting to see if the elevator goes up or down, but I had a peep into the future and an angel whispered in my ear, you are going up! Good one Christopher. A HAPPY YEAR AHEAD FOR YOU MY FRIEND, AND MAY JOY LOVE AND HEALTH ALWAYS BE WITH YOU, HUGS, JENNIFER.
