Kiss the Rain
Gray clouds spill open, falling down-pours ensue
Cleansing air and filling lakes with sweet purity;
Maintaining land and life’s ultimate maturity;
Compelling a radiant sun to shine through,
Giving very grateful eyes a pleasant view.
After shrouding dome has lifted obscurity;
For now, all life has acquired security.
Earth rejoices in heaven’s generous dew.
Embrace descending drops on a wearied soul.
Smell the clean scent that refreshes stale air,
The splash that penetrates the mind’s domain;
Renewing inter being with lost control.
Not a thing in this world can ever compare,
When one takes time to stop and kiss the rain.
