Kindred Spirits

Maybe you were once a person of royalty Waltzing with a once commonfolk me. Maybe you and I were so in love, As we walked quietly beneath the stars. Maybe you and I have know one another before, Although it was likely so long ago, especially in a different form. Maybe you and I are meant for each other, But fated is our affinity, to be but a subtle recalling of our place in eternity. Maybe we’ll never remember, but even now we still Sense the splendor of who we once were.
