Kindred Spirits
Just color me a sunny orange,
whenever you’re around.
You feed my soul and nurture my pain.
You bring out my artist and poet;
from within walls that once stood,
as strong as steel; against…anything human.
Soft and wet, hard and strong;
lamb-gentle, even with your, inner dragon-raging;
you opened my heart and soul,
to a new life and taught me to love;
to tolerate others, failings.
With everything in common and nothing different;
we non-opposites, still attract.
I am lovingly grateful, for it all.
