Kindness Doesn'T Cost a Thing
From a beggar to a banker,
it's not about what you've got.
When God assesses your value,
being wealthy won't mean a lot.
The love within your heart is all
God needs to judge you in the end.
And there's no better résumé
than a lifetime shared with a friend.
You may not be rich or famous,
but some things in life are still free.
Hope doesn't come with a price tag,
and there's no cost for air or sea.
There are so many priceless things,
like freedom or the setting sun.
And nothing's more precious than love
or the joy of just having fun.
You cannot buy a warm spring breeze,
or pay a nightingale to sing.
And pity is given away,
while kindness doesn't cost a thing.
