For now my tortured keyboard gets some peace I quit my job, my backpack filled with food Flowers and sun will so improve my mood Too long I didn't own myself, but lease I fought that daily grind I knew as mine For many years it seemed to go so far Until I saw that fateful shining star And now believe my time has come to shine Adieu my desk, your silence is too dense Bye swivel chair, start loving someone new I'm leaving now, a sky ahead so blue Inviting me, a freedom so immense Hello there world, such visions I do find No longer on the outside of the glass Right here among the breezes and the grass No longer all alone within my mind *** June 16, 2017 Copyright © Chris Green and Darren White

Good Afternoon Darren Good Morning Chris. The two of you are you hear you both roar. Yes, say hello world. There are times we all must leave the keyboard and look around if we can and you guessed it get right back (lol). This is written with dignity and grace. Have a wonderful night. Blessings always

You two collaborating together , making beautiful music, so divine. I'm all for the break, enjoy the backpack filled with yummy food and leave the tortured keyboard for a while. Loved it...Maria

We work seamlessly together, it's like having a conversation, tick-tock-tick, jumps to and fro. And we often wonder what the poem will be about :) Our first few lines are usually completely random, it evolves while writing.

This is like playing table-tennis with the net down, you guys! "No longer on the outside of the glass"... the intensity of the imagery defines all with no restrictions! Enjoyed this one! Best, Ligella
