Keeping All the Hopes Unmentioned
All the dark things of the heavens
and the earth that come together
flying midnight eyes foreseeing
high above the darkened forest
dipping down to skim the river
drinking long and clear the morning
keeping allthe hopes unmentioned
clasping close the child of anguish
and the mother of discension
crying tears to save the nations
in the gateway of tomorrow
rise up fine to speak
your welcome
lest you miss the cosmic
shower
stars that fall so bright
about us
just to welcome
God's new day.
