We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
People we need order;
Brothers stop all this disorder;
Can’t put a quarter, in the jukebox ain’t got no more two-bits for a soda;
F.B.I. men In Wounded Knee;
What is the world comin to, golly…
Freedom they say
What it may
Bring it in, send it away
Got my chains on
I’m unshackled we need just one more tax on our tobacco.
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
Freedom they say, all men gotta right to be free;
Freedom they say, all men have got to be free, what about me;
Society still judges man by his color and just where did he come from
There’s no war goin on over there in Vietnam, just a disagreement bout liberty’s freedom;
Meat prices goin up;
Pollution coming down
Talkin bout how we need to pay more taxes;
Federal funding are being stop;
Unjust police COPS;
While farmers are worried about who’s getting his crops;
While Dow and Jones both wonder whose gonna sell stock
My monies being deadlock
Everybody worried about riots in the springtime
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
We need laws, laws, laws greeting peace, peace, peace to the people (Hi! Friends)
Freedom they say, all men gotta right to be free;
Freedom they say, all men have got to be free, what about me;
Everybody worried about riots in the springtime
Everybody worried about riots in the springtime
Justice, just who is it for
When men act like women
And women act like boys
Where is the clergy, Why is there joy
When Justice, just who is it for
When men act like women
And women act like boys
Where is the clergy, Why is there joy
When innocent blood being spilled on the streets and roads
Innocent blood being spilled on the streets and roads
Justice, just who is it for
They closed the doors cover your face;
They named you a total human disgrace
Justice just who is it for
When men act like women
And women act like boys
